1 year agoNew Jersey Devils left wing Tomas Nosek (lower body) couldn't practice on Sunday due to a lower-body injury and is doubtful for Monday's meeting with the Panthers. Nosek has had a quiet start to the campaign, failing to register any points in New Jersey's first two games and managing only one shot on goal. An injury that forces him to drop out of the lineup would be an additional source of frustration for him. Curtis Lazar, who was a healthy scratch for Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to Arizona, practiced in Nosek's spot on Sunday and figures to jump into the lineup as the left winger on the fourth line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
