Todd Gilliland starts the Food City Dirt Race from the 15th position on Sunday night. Place differential is tough to gauge on dirt tracks and a short track like Bristol. However, last year Gilliland moved up six spots from 23rd to 17th. He did seem to lay back in his Front Row Motorsports Ford during the heat. Now, Gilliland got a taste of riding in the top-15 last year. It will be different this time around. Can the No. 38 car handle the pace?
