Titans Hoping Treylon Burks Will Return Soon
1 year agoTennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is hopeful that wide receiver Treylon Burks (concussion) will be able to return soon. Burks suffered a concussion in Week 9 in the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and hasn't practiced or played since, missing three games while in the league's concussion protocol. The 23-year-old could have a chance to play in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts if he can return to practice this week. Burks has been a first-round bust so far in Tennessee and he also missed Weeks 4-6 with a knee sprain this year. In five games played, he has eight catches for 122 scoreless yards, so he won't suddenly become a must-have in fantasy leagues when he returns to the starting lineup. In his absence, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Kyle Philips and Chris Moore have seen more run behind DeAndre Hopkins, but it hasn't amounted to much production at all in this run-first offense.
