Tim Patrick Scores Lone Broncos Touchdown In Week 15
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick had the team's lone touchdown in the Week 15 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The touchdown pass also came from backup quarterback Drew Lock after he took over for Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) in the second half. At the end of the day, Patrick had three catches on five targets for 42 yards and his fifth touchdown of the season. Patrick has drawn exactly five targets in each of the last three games, but that has only turned into six receptions for 72 yards. And before the 15-10 loss on Sunday, the 28-year-old hadn't scored since Week 9 against the Cowboys. Patrick is usually reliable when the ball is thrown his way, but in this low-volume passing offense that spreads the ball around through the air, he has become a touchdown-dependent WR4/5. His Week 15 line will probably be his ceiling the rest of the way.
