The Houston Texans are working to hire New England Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio as their new general manager, according to sources. The Texans tried to do the same last year but were denied by the Patriots. Caserio would be succeeding former head coach/general manager Bill O'Brien, who was fired by the Texans early this season. Caserio, 45, has been a big part of New England's success, having been with the organization through their six Super Bowls and alongside head coach Bill Belichick as they built a dynasty with the Patriots. He started in New England's front office in 2001 as a personnel assistant and has been the team's director of player personnel since 2008. UPDATE: The Texans have an agreement in place to hire Caserio.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
