4 years agoThe Houston Texans signed free-agent wide receiver Donte Moncrief and former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Alex Erickson to undisclosed one-year deals on Thursday, according to a source. There is opportunity in Houston with Will Fuller V leaving for the Dolphins, but Moncrief and Erickson figure to fight for playing time behind Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb and Keke Coutee. Moncrief, 27, was a non-factor in just six games for the New England Patriots last year and has become mostly a special teams player at this point in his career. He has five combined catches the last two seasons. Erickson, 28, has spent all five of his seasons in Cincinnati. He caught just 12 passes on 17 targets for 139 yards in 16 games (two starts) in 2020 but can also be an option for Houston in the return game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
