Temper Expectations For Kyle Pitts
1 year agoThe Athletic's Josh Kendall suggests that fantasy managers shouldn't be taking Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts high in their drafts, unless you want to live dangerously. Pitts caught 28 passes for 356 yards and two touchdowns last year and had his season cut short due to an MCL tear. Head coach Arthur Smith has hinted that Pitts could be used in more places that don't necessarily lead to passing targets in 2023. Kendall doesn't see the 22-year-old being any higher than fourth on the team in targets this year, and he'll also need to prove he's healthy after last year's surgery. Pitts should still be considered a top-10 fantasy tight end, but his expectations may need to be tempered with quarterback Desmond Ridder, who is entering his first full year as the starter under center.
