The New England Patriots agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent center Ted Karras on Wednesday. The deal could be worth up to $4 million, according to a source. It comes as a result of former starting center David Andrews moving on in free agency. Karras was drafted by New England in the sixth round in 2016 out of Illinois. He departed last year in free agency, signing a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. Karras started all 16 games last year and had started 20 games in his previous four seasons with the Pats. The 28-year-old has flexibility to play both guard spots as well as center. In addition to signing Karras on Wednesday, New England placed a second-round tender on restricted free-agent cornerback J.C. Jackson, most likely assuring that he'll return in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
