Teams Still Interested In Trading For Deshaun Watson
4 years agoThere are still four to five teams that would like to trade for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson despite off-the-field issues that have come up regarding some sexual-misconduct allegations that have turned into lawsuits. Watson hasn't been formally charged with any crime and the NFL will continue to investigate his legal matters as that situation develops. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport has not heard that the New England Patriots are one of the teams with interest in acquiring Watson. Rapoport will not rule out the Miami Dolphins or Chicago Bears. But the Texans continue to hold firm in their stance of not wanting to trade the 25-year-old signal-caller. If the were to trade him, it might not come until the trade deadline or until next year's draft. Watson's trade value has taken a hit no doubt, but unless he's formally charged with a crime and/or faces a potential suspension, there will be teams interested in his services.
