Tarik Cohen's Value Resides In Passing Game
5 years agoChicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen has been bottled up in most of the team's first five games heading into Week 7. Cohen has 20 receptions this season but only 37 rushing yards and is averaging only 6.4 yards per catch. The speedster brings explosiveness but has struggled, along with the entire Chicago offense, to this point in the season. Things will not get easier in Week 7 against a Saints Defense that is allowing the fifth fewest fantasy points to opposing backs. The Saints also are allowing only an average of 30.1 receiving yards to running backs per game. The Bears will certainly be focused on short passes and the running game as keys to victory, but Cohen's fantasy production will be boom-or-bust.
