Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos posted a pair of points (including the game-winning goal) in his team's 5-3 win versus the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. After getting off to a slow start to the season with just eight points in 11 October games, the Lightning captain is now well over a point-per-game with his 51 points in 45 games and looks as dangerous as ever on a stacked Tampa Bay team. Since the calendar flipped over to 2019, Stamkos has produced eight points (two goals, six assists) and has recorded multi-point efforts in three of five games played. The 28-year-old has proved that his production is in no way tied to fellow superstar Nikita Kucherov and finds a way to rack up points on the man advantage and at even-strength regardless of who he plays with. He'll look to keep his current hot streak going in his next game against the Islanders on Sunday. --Chase Davis - RotoBaller
