Steven Adams Traded To Houston
11 months agoMemphis traded center Steven Adams (knee) to Houston on Thursday evening. In exchange, the Grizzlies received guard Victor Oladipo and three second-round draft picks. The 30-year-old has averaged 9.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks since entering the league in 2013. However, he's battled various injuries over the years, most recently getting sidelined by a knee issue that's kept him off the floor since January 2023. That said, Adams is expected to be healthy to begin the 2024-25 campaign and is anticipated to support Alperen Sengun, one of the NBA's most promising young centers. From a fantasy standpoint, the veteran likely has more than a few productive outings left in the tank.
