The Pittsburgh Steelers informed veteran cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon that he'll be released, according to a source. Witherspoon started seven games for the Steelers over the last two seasons. He appeared in only four games last year and missed the final nine games due to a hamstring injury. The 28-year-old defensive back finished the 2022 campaign with only 20 tackles, two pass breakups and an interception. The former third-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2017 played the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Niners before joining Pittsburgh. Witherspoon will now look for another job on the open market this offseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
