The Cincinnati Reds placed outfielder Shogo Akiyama (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list due to a right hamstring strain on Saturday. The 33-year-old is batting .204 with a .282 on-base percentage and a pair of stolen bases in 183 plate appearances this season. Cincinnati also placed fellow outfielder Jesse Winker on the 10-day injured list. The Reds figure to use some combination of Max Schrock, Delino DeShields Jr., Aristides Aquino, and TJ Friedl in the outfield alongside Nick Castellanos with Akiyama and Winker on the injured list.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
