8 months agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Shawn Kelley recorded his sixth save of the season Wednesday afternoon vs the Mariners. Kelley made things interesting in the ninth, putting two men on base before striking out Domingo Santana and getting Kyle Seager to ground into a game-ending double play. Kelley is clearly the man to own in the Rangers' bullpen as Jose Leclerc has been serving as an opener including a start Wednesday. Kelley doesn't have the dominant stuff you like to see from a closer with only a 22.4 percent strikeout rate, but he has five saves this month and his overall usage has been that of a typical closer. He should be owned in all leagues where saves are a category.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
