6/26:New York Mets starting pitcher Seth Lugo has struggled as of late, and while he wasn’t bad on Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, he also wasn’t as great as we saw him look about three starts ago. Across five innings pitched in a 6-4 loss, Lugo allowed three runs (only one earned) on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts. It wasn’t Lugo’s best outing regardless, but he was done in by two errors from the normally sure-handed Luis Guillorme (who is a second baseman by trade) at third base. Lugo is next scheduled to take the hill on Sunday against the Miami Marlins, where he’ll be an attractive streamer option.--John Smith
