Sergio Romo Earns Save Tuesday Versus Toronto
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays reliever Sergio Romo earned his second save of the season Tuesday versus the Blue Jays. He would pitch a scoreless inning to preserve and close out a 4-1 lead. Romo has been serving multiple roles this season, including starting five times. This split role makes it tough for fantasy owners to use Romo. When he starts, he cannot provide either a win or a save, and he will often be facing the best part of a team's lineup. Watch the usage going forward because if he starts picking up a solid portion of the save opportunities, his value goes up tremendously.
