Wanting to erase the memory of losing 2022's last main event of the year, Sean Strickland turned it around by earning a unanimous-decision win over Nassourdine Imavov on Saturday (49-46, 49-46, 48-47). In 25 minutes of action, Strickland tallied 182 significant strikes compared to the 123 of Imavov. Using his high-pace attack method, Strickland earned his first victory since last February. It appears we can expect another busy year from Strickland. If this matchup is any indication, we can expect more big showings from Strickland. Though he may not earn a finish, he is typically in main events, where he can rack up points via significant strikes.--Matt Bricker
