The Seattle Seahawks released defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson on Tuesday, according to a source. Jefferson will be one and done in Seattle after spending the first four seasons of his career with the team in his second stint with the Seahawks. He played for the Buffalo Bills in 2020 and the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021. In 17 games (three starts), Jefferson had 29 tackles (17 solo), a career-high 5.5 sacks, six tackles for loss and 13 QB hits last year. The 29-year-old former fifth-round pick by the Seahawks in 2016 should generate some interest on the open market as a rotational pass-rusher after a solid season in 2022.--Keith HernandezRead More News
