The Seattle Seahawks plan to hire Aden Durde as their new defensive coordinator, according to a source. Born in England, Durde played in NFL Europe and the NFL before starting his coaching career. The 44-year-old will now take on a big role coordinating Seattle's defense on new head coach Mike MacDonald's staff. Durde was the Dallas Cowboys' defensive line coach for the last three seasons under then-defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. He also served as a coaching intern in 2016 for the Atlanta Falcons before becoming a defensive assistant from 2018-19 and the outside linebackers coach in 2020 while Quinn was the head coach. He started his NFL coaching career as an intern with the Cowboys from 2014-15. MacDonald said he will initially call the defensive plays with the plan to eventually hand over those duties to a defensive coordinator.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
