Saquon Barkley Catches Two Touchdowns In Loss
6 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley caught four passes for 81 yards, including two touchdowns, in the Giants last-second loss to the Panthers 33-31. Barkley managed only 48 rushing yards but got the Giants on the board by catching a pass from wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and sprinting 57 yards for the score. The rookie then caught a ball in the red zone and skied through the air for his second touchdown of the game. It turned out to be the final offensive play in the game for the Giants and Barkley was clearly shaken up after the play as he hobbled to the sideline. It is unclear what kind of injury Barkley suffered but was in pain as the game ended. His status should be monitored over the next few days.
