11 months agoThe Miami Marlins activated starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara (arm) from the disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A New Orleans on Monday. Alcantara gave up one run in five innings in his first major league start this year, but he also walked five in that outing. On the farm this year he's 5-3 with a 3.74 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 6.7 K/9 over 17 starts. He'll likely make a few more starts for the Marlins at some point down the stretch, but he'll most likely be up and down for fantasy owners.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
