Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Sami Vatanen experienced a setback in his recovery from a lower-body injury on Thursday. Vatanen, who initially suffered the injury while blocking a shot in a game versus the Dallas Stars on February 1st, had to depart from his team's morning skate due to the issue. Acquired from the New Jersey Devils for forward Janne Kuokkanen, defenseman Frederick Claesson and a conditional fourth-round draft pick on trade deadline day, the 28-year-old will now have to wait even longer before making his debut for his new team. Vatanen has posted 23 points (five goals, 18 assists), 10 power-play points and 95 shots in 47 games this season.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
