2 years agoIndianapolis Colts interim head coach Jeff Saturday said that the quarterback situation between Sam Ehlinger and Matt Ryan isn't a closed competition. Ryan has recovered from his right shoulder injury and will serve as Ehlinger's backup in Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Saturday said the team will constantly evaluate every position, so although the Colts said that Ehlinger would be their starter for the rest of the season before they fired head coach Frank Reich, there's now a possibility the Colts turn back to Ryan if Ehlinger continues to struggle under center. Ehlinger will likely be on a short leash now, and Ryan could once again become relevant in two-QB superflex leagues if he regains the starting role.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
