The New Orleans Saints and free-agent safety Tyrann Mathieu officially agreed to a three-year, $33 million deal on Monday that includes $18 million fully guaranteed, according to sources. The language of the deal still needs to be finalized and the deal signed, but Mathieu is indeed returning home to New Orleans after playing his college ball at LSU. The Honey Badger will make an already strong Saints secondary that much better. The 29-year-old is a three-time Pro Bowler and a three-time first-team All-Pro. In his last three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, he's recorded 171 tackles, eight tackles for loss, six QB hits, three sacks, 13 interceptions (two for touchdowns), 27 passes defensed and four fumble recoveries in 47 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
