Russell Wilson Facing An Uphill Battle
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has faced a few stingy defenses this year, and so far he's won more of those games than he's lost. This week, he'll face another strong passing defense, and if he's going to win, he's going to have to do it in one of the toughest places in the league. Green Bay is expected to receive multiple inches of snow on Saturday night, and it will in the 20s during the game on Sunday evening. The last time he played a frozen playoff game was in Minnesota in 2015, and he only threw for 142 yards in that one. Green Bay's defense has allowed the fifth fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, Seattle's running backs totaled just 19 yards on the ground last week and the Seahawks haven't won in Green Bay in 20 years. The deck is entirely stacked against Wilson having a good game, and while he might make enough magic happen to get a win, it's unlikely he puts up great numbers in the process.
