3 years agoSan Diego Padres right-hander Reiss Knehr is on the team's taxi squad and seems likely to start on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves. However, who starts on Tuesday could depend on the weather situation on Monday and Tuesday. Knehr had a decent MLB debut earlier this month against the Colorado Rockies when he allowed two runs in 3 2/3 innings in a spot start. The team's No. 12 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, has gone 6-2 with a 4.03 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 47/25 K/BB in 58 innings over 12 starts for Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso in the minors in 2021. The right-hander could have a future as a reliever in the big leagues, but for now he'll just be a shaky streaming option in deeper leagues if he starts on Tuesday against a Braves team without Ronald Acuna Jr.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
