6/26:The Boston Red Sox are in an arms race with the New York Yankees in an effort to improve their bullpen. Recently, both teams have been linked to Baltimore Orioles reliever Zach Britton. Britton has returned to the lineup recently after missing a big portion of the season with an Achilles injury. He has recorded a total of 135 saves over the past four seasons and would drastically improve any team's bullpen. Obviously, Craig Kimbrel is locked into the closer role for the Red Sox, so a trade would cause Britton's fantasy value to bottom out, unless your league counts holds. Regardless, Red Sox general manager Dave Dombrowski would have to get creative to land the lefty, as he has cleared out the prospect pool in recent years.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
