2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III had a surprise showing in the 44-23 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7. McCloud caught all four of his targets on the day for 65 yards and his first touchdown of his career. The 26-year-old, mostly known for his exploits on special teams in his five years in the league, came out of nowhere to find the end zone in this one. In the first six games of the year, McCloud had a grand total of four catches on nine targets for 53 yards. It was a cool moment for the return man, but he's unlikely to produce much on offense for the Niners moving forward unless they suffer an injury or two ahead of him on the receiver depth chart.
