Rashad Weaver Undergoes Season-Ending Surgery
3 years agoTennessee Titans rookie linebacker Rashad Weaver (leg) underwent successful season-ending surgery on Thursday to fix a broken fibula, according to a source. The fourth-round pick suffered the serious injury in the Week 3 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Weaver played on only 18 percent of the team's defensive snaps last Sunday and totaled two assisted tackles. His injury is a hit to Tennessee's linebacking depth, but it won't make their defense/special teams any less attractive in an excellent Week 4 matchup with the New York Jets. Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson has thrown seven interceptions and been sacked a whopping 15 times in his first three NFL games.
