Rams To Release Leonard Floyd On Friday
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams are planning to release outside linebacker Leonard Floyd on Friday, according to a source. The move was expected as the Rams continue to shed salary in 2023. Floyd finished his third year with the Rams in 2022 with 59 tackles (31 solo), nine sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 22 QB hits and a fumble recovery in 17 starts. The 30-year-old former first-round pick of the Chicago Bears in 2016 has recorded 99 solo tackles, 29 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, 59 QB hits, an interception, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 50 starts over the last three seasons with LA, so he should have plenty of interest on the open market.
