Raisel Iglesias Earns First Save Since May
Raisel Iglesias collected his ninth save of the season on Tuesday, putting out a fire in the ninth inning to secure a 7-4 win. Iglesias was summoned with runners on the corners and one out with a four-run lead, and was able to escape with limited damage after allowing a run-scoring double. The 35-year-old has had a tough go of it this year and was removed from the closer role a few weeks ago, but has steadied the ship since then. Dillon Lee has been rock solid as the Braves’ closer, so Iglesias might not get back into his role right away, but if Lee does falter it seems like Iglesias would be the next guy up. He is a decent stash option in leagues where saves are scarce.
