7/28:Colorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia was sent back to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for starting pitcher German Marquez. Marquez had been sidelined for paternity leave. Since being called up on July 1, Tapia had only started three games, so it was logical that he was going to be sent back down. He's still a solid prospect for the future, but Colorado's outfield is just too full of veterans this year for him to have much hope of regular playing time.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
