Free-agent defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson said that he is signing with the Seattle Seahawks on an undisclosed two-year deal on Friday. Jefferson was taken in the fifth round of the 2016 draft by the Seahawks out of Maryland, and he spent his first four years in the NFL with the team. He played for the Buffalo Bills in 2020 and the Las Vegas Raiders last year, but he will now reunite with the team that drafted him. In 17 starts in 2021, Jefferson had a career-high 47 tackles (17 solo), five tackles for loss, 16 QB hits, two forced fumbles and 4.5 sacks. The 28-year-old will hopefully be a big improvement for a defensive line that struggled to get pressure on the opposing quarterback last season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
