Quenton Nelson To Miss His First NFL Game
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts offensive guard Quenton Nelson (ankle) will miss his first NFL game in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins after playing in the first 51 games of his career. Nelson could be in danger of missing the second game of his career in Week 5 after he was carted off the field in the first half of the Week 3 loss to the Tennessee Titans. With Nelson out this weekend, Chris Reed is expected to start at left guard on Indy's offensive line. Nelson made the Pro Bowl and was named a first-team All-Pro in each of his first three seasons, so losing that kind of talent up front shouldn't be ignored. Not only that, but running back Jonathan Taylor (knee) is questionable, and quarterback Carson Wentz (ankles) is expected to play on two bum ankles for the second straight week. The Dolphins defense is on the streaming radar in Week 4.
