The Indianapolis Colts placed offensive linemen Quenton Nelson and Eric Fisher on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. It's unclear whether Nelson and Fisher tested positive for the virus or if they were just close contacts, but they'll need to clear the league's COVID-19 protocols before rejoining the team. For Nelson, who recently returned from foot surgery on Aug. 3, another absence could hurt his ability to be at peak form for the start of the regular season in a few weeks. The starting left guard has been a first-team All-Pro in each of his first three seasons and is a big part of Indy's excellent O-line. Fisher has spent all of training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list after suffering an Achilles tear in January. His placement on the COVID-19 list certainly makes it tougher for him to be ready for the start of the regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
