The New England Patriots released linebacker Kyle Van Noy on Monday, according to a source. The move creates just under $5 million in salary cap space for the 2022 season. Van Noy immediately becomes a free agent and can sign with another team right away. He played for New England from 2016-19 before joining the Miami Dolphins in 2020. Van Noy returned to the Patriots last year to post 66 tackles (42 solo), five tackles for loss, seven QB hits, one interception for a touchdown, 10 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and five sacks in 16 regular season games (eight starts). The 30-year-old has become a free agent for the third straight season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
