Montreal Canadiens winger Patrik Laine (knee) was back in practice on Wednesday. It's the first time he skated with the team since spraining his left knee in a preseason game against Toronto on Sept. 28. Laine wore a non-contact jersey on Wednesday. It was initially announced that he would miss 2-3 months with the injury. Laine's previous health issues mean that the Finnish forward hasn't skated in a regular-season game since Dec. 14, 2023. There are a lot of question marks hanging over Laine, but once he's healthy enough to return to action, we should see him among Montreal's top-six group. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
