Patrick Cantlay's 2022 debut was a solid one, as he finished fourth at Kapalua. In Maui, Cantlay gained 5.9 strokes from tee to green and 3.6 strokes on approach. This solid performance was only minuscule compared to his incredible run in the playoffs. Cantlay should also feel at home here in La Quinta, California. He has two top-10s here in his last two starts. Last year, he shot an incredible 61 on Sunday to only lose by one shot. In 2019, Cantlay finished ninth while losing 3.7 strokes on the green.
