Pat Freiermuth Limited Again Thursday
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday, but he remains in the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in the Week 5 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The 23-year-old has already suffered multiple concussions in his two years in the NFL, so he's by no means a lock to make it back in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If he isn't cleared by Sunday's game, Zach Gentry and Connor Heyward would split repetitions at tight end for Pittsburgh. Fantasy managers that have been using Freiermuth as their starting tight end through five weeks should look in another direction this week. He has 20 catches on 32 targets for 235 yards and five touchdowns to this point.
