The Carolina Panthers re-signed cornerback Donte Jackson to an undisclosed three-year deal on Saturday. Jackson missed the final five games of last season with a core muscle injury that required surgery after he ended the year on Injured Reserve. He finished with 61 tackles, 10 passes defensed and two interceptions in 12 games played for Carolina. The 26-year-old will return in 2022 for his fifth season with the team after he was taken in the second round of the 2018 draft out of LSU. Jackson's return probably means that Stephon Gilmore will not be back for a second season in Carolina. Jackson will start again this year across from Jaycee Horn.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
