3 days agoMiami Heat guard/forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against Golden State. He might be absent for a second consecutive game after coming out of the lineup with left ankle discomfort on Sunday versus Cleveland. Jaquez Jr. has had a steady role with the Heat, and his absence opens up around 30 minutes of playing time. Haywood Highsmith picked up some of the minutes at the weekend and had a good game with 18 points and five rebounds. However, he might drop out of the rotation if Jaquez Jr. is available again and Caleb Martin (ankle) finds a way to rid himself of a questionable tag.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoMiami Heat forward/center Kevin Love (heel) is nearing a return and has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Warriors. The veteran has missed 13 games on the bounce with a right heel injury, last appearing for Miami on Feb. 27. Love will likely push Thomas Bryant near the end of the bench again, and Nikola Jovic and Haywood Highsmith might also lose a few minutes. The five-time All-Star doesn't play a lot these days, but Love has been effective when on the court, averaging 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 17.5 minutes.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoGolden State Warriors center Trayce Jackson-Davis (knee) is questionable to play on Tuesday against Miami. The rookie big man has hurt his left knee and might have to come out of the lineup in the midst of a very good stretch. Jackson-Davis has tallied 10.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 23.0 minutes this month. If he can't play versus the Heat, Kevon Looney might jump back into the rotation, with Dario Saric also in a position to log extra minutes. However, this wouldn't change their fantasy value, as both players have only filled a minuscule role for the Warriors.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook (hand) is available Monday, three weeks after having hand surgery. The former MVP was recovering from a fractured hand suffered on March 1st in a matchup against Washington. Westbrook has been one of the most productive bench players in the league this season, putting up 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. While Westbrook was out, the Clippers posted a 6-6 record. In his return against the Pacers, the 35-year-old shouldn't face any minute restrictions.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoOn Monday, Philadelphia 76ers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (shoulder) will not suit up against the Sacramento Kings. He is suffering from a sore left shoulder. The 28-year-old was added to the injury report as a game-time decision, and after testing his shoulder in pregame warmups, he is now listed as out. 31-year-old Buddy Hield will likely start at small forward with Oubre Jr. sidelined.Source: Gina Mizell
3 days agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Lamar Stevens (groin) will suit up Monday against the Denver Nuggets. Stevens has been dealing with a left-groin strain. He will take the court for the first time since March 10. The 26-year-old averaged 10.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 23.5 minutes across his last five outings before getting injured. Despite a depleted Grizzlies roster, Stevens may still see limited minutes Monday night.Source: Grizzlies PR
3 days agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Jake LaRavia (illness), previously listed as a game-time decision due to illness, will be available to play against the Denver Nuggets on Monday. Despite being sick, he is healthy enough to play. In his last five games, he has averaged 11.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals. Desmond Bane (back) and Lamar Stevens (adductor), listed as questionable earlier in the day, will also be suiting up.Source: Grizzlies PR
3 days agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is officially out on Monday versus the Nuggets. He's still dealing with tendonitis in his left patellar tendon. The 24-year-old has played 52 contests this season, averaging 10.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. The Grizzlies lineup has been hampered with injuries this season. However, Desmond Bane (back), Scottie Pippen Jr. (shin) and Jake LaRavia (illness) will provide some relief to a depleted roster as they are available for Monday's tilt.Source: Grizzlies PR
3 days agoMemphis Grizzlies guard/forward Desmond Bane (back) is available against Denver on Monday. After missing two months with a sprained ankle, Bane is now dealing with a sore back. Following his long-awaited return, the Grizzlies star played in only three games before having some injury issues. Memphis continues to have several players on their injury list, resulting in John Konchar in the backcourt against San Antonio on Friday. Scotty Pippen Jr. and Jordan Goodwin have also been significant parts of the teams rotation.Source: Grizzlies PR
3 days agoDenver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (illness) will play on Monday against the Grizzlies. He was on the injury report because of a non-COVID-illness. However, Porter is good to go. The 25-year-old scored only 12 points in Saturday's win over the Trail Blazers. While there's a chance he'll bounce back, he may spend more time on the bench if the Nuggets build a commanding lead over the shorthanded Grizzlies.Source: Denver Nuggets
3 days agoDenver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (foot) won't play on Monday against Memphis. The veteran had a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double with three blocks in Saturday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Unfortunately, he popped up on the injury report late on Monday because of a right Plantar Fascia strain. There hasn't been anything to suggest the injury will keep him out beyond Monday night, meaning he could be back for Wednesday's showdown with the Suns. But as fas as the meeting with Memphis is concerned, Peyton Watson, averaging 11.8 points, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals in four starts this year, should fill the void in the lineup.Source: Denver Nuggets
3 days agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (ankle) remains out on Monday against Memphis. He hasn't played in over a week because of a sprained left ankle. Unquestionably, the Nuggets need him healthy for the postseason, so he may not be back for at least a few more contests. But until Murray returns to the lineup, Reggie Jackson, who scored 23 points in Saturday's win over Portland, will presumably remain in the starting lineup. However, with Nikola Jokic (back, hip) and Michael Porter Jr. (illness) available, Jackson may not be as productive.Source: Denver Nuggets
3 days agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (hip, back) will suit up for Monday's game against Memphis. He didn't play on Saturday versus Portland because of back and hip issues. However, truth be told, the Nuggets did fine without him. As always, Jokic is a must-start for any fantasy format. But if Denver builds a big lead over the shorthanded Grizzlies, he may spend more time on the bench. With that said, Jokic's return means DeAndre Jordan will head back to the bench.Source: Denver Nuggets
3 days agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (Achilles) is probable for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee. The Achilles issue isn't anything new, and Davis will likely continue to deal with it for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign, including the playoffs, assuming the Lakers advance. But he's only missed four games this season, with his most recent absence occurring over a month ago. With Los Angeles commencing a six-game road trip, there's a chance the 31-year-old could get a night off during that stretch. However, if LeBron James (ankle), who is doubtful for Tuesday, doesn't suit up, Davis would be a lock for all fantasy lineups.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoLos Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell isn't listed on the injury report heading into Tuesday's meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks. He was ruled out shortly before Sunday's win over the Indiana Pacers because of a non-COVID-illness. As a result, Spencer Dinwiddie started and finished with 26 points, five assists, two blocks, and one steal. With LeBron James (ankle) not expected to suit up on Tuesday night, Russell will command attention from DFS managers, considering he could smash his value. At the same time, James' anticipated absence should keep the door open for Dinwiddie to remain involved enough to stay on the fantasy radar.Source: NBA Injury Report
