2 days agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Andrew Wiggins (illness) was able to fully participate during Wednesday's shootaround. However, Wiggins remains listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday's contest against the Utah Jazz. Jarrett Culver will continue to have streaming appeal until Wiggins returns to the starting five. Fantasy owners should check back for an update closer to tip-off.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Kent Youngblood

2 days agoChicago Bulls forward Chandler Hutchison (shin) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Head coach Jim Boylen didn't reveal a timetable for Hutchison's return, so he could be sidelined for a bit. It's unclear who is going to start instead of Hutchison on Wednesday. Thaddeus Young would be the best bet, but more information should be known closer to tip-off.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: K.C. Johnson

2 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Josh Richardson (hip) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks. The injury is being called a right hip flexor, but it shouldn't be something that sidelines him longer than one game. Furkan Korkmaz should jump into the starting five on Wednesday. He won't have standard league value, but is worth a look as a deep league streaming option for this one.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

2 days agoDallas Mavericks guard Seth Curry (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He was listed as questionable for this one, but he's not going to battle through the illness to play here. Delon Wright, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jalen Brunson will split up the extra minutes. Wright should have the most upside out of this trio.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

2 days agoBoston Celtics guard Marcus Smart (ankle) is expected to be fine for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Smart tweaked his ankle during Tuesday's game, but he's not expected to miss any time. Jaylen Brown would absorb some more minutes if Smart doesn't suit up. However, he's expected to play, so fantasy owners shouldn't be worried.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Jay King

2 days agoGolden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (elbow) has been removed from the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Green fell and hit his elbow during Tuesday's game, but appears fine. Fantasy owners shouldn't be worried about Green missing this game or being limited. However, they should check back before tip-off just to make sure.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Anthony Slater

2 days agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) is expected to return for Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Leonard has missed the last three games due to a left knee issue. He was at shootaround, so fantasy owners should feel safe about plugging Leonard back into their lineups. Basketball fans will finally get to see Paul George and Leonard on the floor together.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Ohm Youngmisuk

2 days agoOklahoma City Thunder center Nerlens Noel scored 15 points, pulled down eight rebounds, dished out an assist and added three steals in a 112-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The 25-year-old has played 30 minutes just once, though he's quietly been better than starter Steven Adams, who's battled injuries. Who knows if it's sustainable, but here are Noel's per 36-minute averages: 14.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.3 steals, and 3.1 blocks. At the very least, Noel's play should earn him more minutes off the bench. It's worth it to monitor the Adams-Noel situation moving forward. For now, the latter isn't worth adding yet due to his 18.3 minutes per game average. He and the Thunder will face the Lakers again on Friday.--Tim Capurso - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder scored 31 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out an assist in a 112-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The 26-year-old bounced back from three straight poor shooting performances to go 60 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from three and four of four on free throws. He was a much-needed spark for the Thunder off the bench, frequently keeping them in the game against a superior Lakers squad. If Schroder can keep knocking down two-pointers at a career-high rate, 50.8 percent, and up his efficiency from three, 28.6 percent, he could have a better statistical year than last year. He'll continue to be locked into the sixth-man role when the Thunder battle the Lakers again on Friday.--Tim Capurso - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoOklahoma City Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari posted 25 points, six rebounds and one assist in a losing effort to the Los Angeles Lakers. Gallinari bounced back from a 23.1 percent shooting performance to scorch the nets in this one- he shot 63.6/40/81.8. The 31-year-old has had a career renaissance of sorts. The move to more of a stretch four has suited the veteran, as he shot a career-high 43.3 percent from deep last year, and is off to a good start with a 41.3 percent mark this season. Gallinari and the Thunder will take on the Lakers again on Friday.--Tim Capurso - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis poured in 34 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three triples, two blocks, and four steals in Tuesday's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 26-year-old was dealing with a sore shoulder, though no one would have known with the way he played. He was aggressive, looking for his three and frequently slashing to the rim. After going 0-5 from deep in the past two games, Davis got his three-ball going with a 3-5 performance. He continues his march towards the Defensive Player of the Year award, with a league-leading 3.1 blocks per game and a healthy 1.4 steals. He'll continue to be a factor in nearly every statistical category when the Lakers play the Thunder again on Friday.--Tim Capurso - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James tallied 25 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two triples, and two steals in a 112-107 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. It's James' fifth triple-double this year- and he became the first player in NBA history to record one against every team. Playing with Anthony Davis has skyrocketed James' playmaking ceiling, as he's averaged a career-high 11.1 assists through the first 14 games. The assists have helped to mask a slight dip in shooting efficiency for the 34-year-old, though it's not a concern moving forward. The ageless wonder will get a couple days to rest his body before taking on the Thunder again on Friday.--Tim Capurso - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside easily tallied another double-double -- his eighth of the season -- on Tuesday against New Orleans, scoring 14 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in a 115-104 loss. Rookie forward Nassir Little also had a double-double for the Blazers, finishing with 12 points and 11 boards. Whiteside missed only two of his seven field-goal attempts and he had a perfect 4-for-4 record at the line. The Blazers play the Bucks next in a matchup that should suit Whiteside well, as only four teams have given up more points to opposing centers this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum took the lead role on offense in Tuesday's matchup against New Orleans with Damian Lillard (back) out, delivering a 22-point performance on 9-for-22 shooting. It was a pretty poor shooting night overall, but he did have a good 4-for-10 record from downtown, and he's now hit at least 40 percent of his triples in four straight games. McCollum finished things off on the night with five assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block. The Blazers resume their season on Thursday against the Bucks, who are a high-end defensive team, but they actually have a mediocre record against opposing shooting guards, giving up 22.3 points per 48 minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony made his team debut on Tuesday against New Orleans, finishing a 115-104 loss with 10 points in 24 minutes. As a starter, Melo looked good physically, but he clearly has to shake off some rust after going 4-for-14 from the field. With Damian Lillard (back) out, only C.J. McCollum had more shot attempts than Anthony. His overall shooting was poor, but he actually went a nice 2-for-3 from three-point range, so he has some positives to take from the game. He also had four rebounds, one block and five turnovers. The Blazers continue their road trip in Milwaukee against the Bucks, who boast a top-three defense in the league, so it could be a very long night for Melo and the rest of the crew.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
