9 hours agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Mack Hollins (ankle) was able to practice fully on Wednesday. Hollins hasn't played since he injured his ankle back in Week 9 but his ability to log a full session on Wednesday bodes well for his availability heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even if he returns to action this weekend, Hollins isn't a particularly strong fantasy option in the pass-first Atlanta offense.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: AtlantaFalcons.com

9 hours agoHouston Texans wide receiver Noah Brown (knee) is still managing a knee injury and was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice session. Brown was forced to sit out in Weeks 11 and 12 because of his knee injury. He returned in last Sunday's Week 13 win over the Denver Broncos and played a season-high 81 percent of the offensive snaps, but he was targeted just twice and didn't catch either of them. The good news is the 27-year-old hasn't had any setbacks with his knee and should be fine to play in Week 14 against the New York Jets, where he's expected to be the No. 2 receiver now that impressive rookie Tank Dell (leg) is out for the year. It's a tough matchup on the road against the Jets, but Brown's fantasy stock is on the rise. He had 13 catches (14 targets) for 325 yards and one score in Weeks 9 and 10.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Houston Texans

9 hours agoNew Orleans Saints rookie running back Kendre Miller (ankle) missed yet another practice on Wednesday. Miller, a third-round pick this year out of TCU, sprained his ankle in Week 9 and hasn't practiced or played since. The 21-year-old isn't off to a great start as the team begins preparations for their Week 14 game against the Carolina Panthers. Even if Miller returns to the field later this week and is cleared to play this weekend, he'll most likely serve as the No. 3 RB behind Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams. It's been a lost rookie season to this point for Miller, who is strictly a dynasty/keeper league stash. He has carried the ball 28 times for 83 yards (2.96 yards per carry) and no touchdowns in his first seven games played, adding nine catches for 111 yards through the air.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: SI.com - John Hendrix
Share:
9 hours agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson (quadriceps) was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a quadriceps injury. Johnson played a season-low 57 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 13 loss to the Detroit Lions and couldn't haul in any of his three targets. His first target early in Sunday's game clanked off his hands and to a Lions defender for an interception. Taysom Hill (foot, hand) is also injured and could be in danger of sitting out this weekend's game against the Carolina Panthers. It could lead to more work for Foster Moreau and veteran Jimmy Graham, who caught his second touchdown of the year in Week 13. When healthy, Johnson hasn't been much more than a low-upside TE2 streamer, as he's caught 18 of his 32 targets for 142 yards and one touchdown on the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: SI.com - John Hendrix
Share:
10 hours agoNew Orleans Saints tight end/quarterback Taysom Hill (foot, hand) is dealing with multiple injuries this week and wasn't able to practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday. Hill is now in danger of missing the Week 14 contest against the Carolinaread more...
Share:
10 hours agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (thumb) is still missing from practice on Wednesday. Taylor had thumb surgery on Nov. 29 and missed his first game in Week 13's overtime win over the Tennessee Titans. He's highly unlikely practice or play in Week 14 against the Bengals in Cincinnati this Sunday. The 24-year-old was given a three- to five-week timetable to return from his thumb injury. Fantasy managers should keep Taylor stashed, but he still might not be able to return in time to help you potentially make a run at that coveted fantasy title in 2023. In the meantime, Zack Moss will have RB2 upside in fantasy lineups as Indianapolis' lead back. Moss will have upside this week against a suspect Bengals run defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Indianapolis Colts
Share:
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Julio Jones (groin) did not take part in practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday. Jones lost snaps -- he was out there for only 10 snaps -- to Quez Watkins in the Week 13 blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers and could be in danger of sitting out this weekend's divisional tilt against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles had been limiting the 34-year-old veteran in practices with a knee injury, but now he's listed with a groin issue. Even if Jones returns to practice later this week and is active in Week 14, he should be avoided in all starting fantasy lineups, especially with tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) set to return this Sunday. Jones has only five catches for 16 yards and one touchdown since joining the Eagles in Week 7.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Philadelphia Eagles
Share:
10 hours agoPittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was successful on one of his two field goal attempts and converted on his lone extra-point try of a Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The 32-year-old will hope to see more opportunities in a Thursday night showdown with the New England Patriots. Although New England's defense has held its opponents in check in recent weeks, the Patriots have surrendered the 10th-most fantasy points per game to kickers this season. That being said, this contest is not expected to feature much offensive output. Boswell could turn in a solid showing, but fantasy managers should check waivers for other options in more enticing matchups.--Jorden Hill - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
Share:
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) put in a full practice on Wednesday and appears on track to make his return for a big divisional contest in Week 14 against the rival Dallas Cowboys. Tight end Grant Calcaterra (ankle) was also a full-go, while Jack Stoll (knee) was limited. Goedert hasn't played since fracturing his right forearm in Week 9, but the 28-year-old sounds fully ready to return as a big part of Philly's passing game this weekend. There's a chance his snaps could be limited in his first game back, but it's hard to recommend sitting one of the best tight ends in the game in one of the most explosive offenses in football. Stoll has been on the field more the last three games with Goedert out, but it's only amounted to two catches on four targets for 17 yards.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Philadelphia Eagles
Share:
10 hours agoNew England Patriots kicker Chad Ryland has not been a reliable fantasy option all season long, and that remains the case ahead of Week 14 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots were held scoreless against a suspect Chargers defense last week and will face similar difficulty this Thursday with Bailey Zappe under center. Beyond the Patriots' offensive woes, Ryland himself has struggled, going just 12-for-18 on field goals this season and missing a crucial kick at the end of regulation in Week 12. He should be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
Share:
10 hours agoThe New England Patriots' defense has significant streaming appeal in most fantasy football leagues ahead of their primetime clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night. While New England has been struggling lately, so, too, has Pittsburgh. The team recently fired its offensive coordinator, scored just 10 points against the Cardinals last week, was forced to make a quarterback change due to injury, and could also be without running back Najee Harris (knee). Meanwhile, the Patriots' defense held the Chargers to zero touchdowns last week, showing off their strength as a unit. Not only will this week's matchup be quite low-scoring, but we could also see plenty of turnovers with Mitch Trubisky and Bailey Zappe quarterbacking their respective teams. The Patriots' defense is firmly in the top-12 conversation in all fantasy leagues.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
Share:
10 hours agoSeattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (oblique) and rookie Zach Charbonnet (knee) were both listed as non-participants in Wednesday's walkthrough practice. Walker has missed the last two games following a moderate oblique strain he suffered in Week 11. Meanwhile, Charbonnet bruised his knee in last Thursday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Both backs have two more days to get back onto the practice field, but if they can't and are both forced to sit out this Sunday's divisional clash against the San Francisco 49ers, it would likely be DeeJay Dallas leading the Seahawks' backfield. Seattle also has Kenny McIntosh for RB depth if both Walker and Charbonnet can't play this weekend. We'll keep a close eye on this backfield situation as the week progresses.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Seahawks.com - John Boyle
Share:
10 hours agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers recorded two sacks and a forced fumble while surrendering 24 points to the Arizona Cardinals in a Week 13 loss. This was a surprising letdown but Pittsburgh will have an excellent opportunity to bounce back against the New England Patriots on Thursday night. The Patriots have scored just 13 total points over their past three contests combined and rank near the top of the league in giveaways per game. With Bailey Zappe starting at quarterback and running back Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) ruled out due to injury, New England's offense could struggle to move the ball on the road. Fantasy managers should lock the Steelers D/ST into starting lineups as it has the potential to deliver a massive performance.--Jorden Hill - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
Share:
10 hours agoNew England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry could have a larger role in Week 14 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers after teammates Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle), Demario Douglas (concussion), and Kayshon Boutte (shoulder) were ruled out. Nevertheless, his low production over the last few weeks and the Patriots' overall offensive struggles make it tough to trust Henry on Thursday night. New England has not had much luck passing the football in recent weeks, including last Sunday when Bailey Zappe totaled just 141 yards while taking five sacks and leading zero scoring drives. Assuming the Patriots' passing attack continues to falter, New England will go run-heavy, rendering Henry irrelevant in fantasy football regardless of the pass-catching depth (or lack thereof) around him. He should be viewed as a low-end TE2 who belongs on waivers in most fantasy leagues.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
Share:
10 hours agoNew England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe is not a reliable fantasy option for Week 14 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. While one could argue that he has been a slight upgrade over Mac Jones, he was still quite disappointing during his first start of the season last Sunday when he led zero scoring drives, tallied just 141 passing yards, and took five sacks. To make matters worse, Zappe won't have his top receiving threats this week. Demario Douglas (concussion) and Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) have already been ruled out, which is bad news for the passing game and the offense as a whole. Fantasy managers should avoid Zappe at all costs ahead of a game that is expected to be very low-scoring.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
