The Green Bay Packers are likely to sign defensive tackle Kenny Clark to a long-term contract extension before the start of the 2020 season. It was no surprise that the team exercised his fifth-year option on Wednesday. General manager Brian Gutenkunst called Clark "a dominant player on the defensive front" just last week. The 23-year-old had a career-high six sacks in 13 games last season and has accrued 10.5 quarterback takedowns in his three seasons with Green Bay.
