P.J. Washington Remains Sidelined Monday
P.J. Washington (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Wizards. Washington has been sidelined since Nov. 3 due to a hyperextended left elbow, although he should be nearing a return to action relatively soon. Even when healthy, Miles Bridges' emergence has pushed Washington to the team's second unit, where he has averaged 9.9 points and 4.4 rebounds across his first seven games this year. Considering that the team will likely take it slow with the 23-year-old upon his return to action, he can likely remain on the waiver wire until he reverts to prior form. His next chance to play comes Wednesday vs. Orlando.
