The Orioles placed right-hander Zach Eflin (back) on the 15-day injured list Thursday with lower back discomfort. The move comes just two starts after he returned from a back injury that sidelined him in late June. Eflin has struggled this season despite a 6-5 record, posting a 5.93 ERA, 16.2% strikeout rate, and a 5.8% home run rate. While the injury raises concern, he could still draw interest from contenders in need of rotation depth. If healthy by September, Eflin may provide value down the stretch. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues should keep him on the radar.--Shaun Albin
