Nolan McLean Allows Only One Hit in Dominant Outing
Nolan McLean had a pristine outing on Tuesday against Triple-A Charlotte, allowing one hit and three walks while striking out seven across 5 2/3 scoreless innings. McLean has been outstanding all season at Triple-A Syracuse and has been even better of late. Since allowing a season-high six runs in his shortest outing on July 28, he's bounced back with just four runs allowed over 19 innings across three starts, posting a 19:6 K:BB. The right-hander is one of the top pitching prospects in the Mets system and could be called upon at some point if injuries hit in the Mets' rotation.
