Nolan Arenado Feels Disrespected By Rockies
5 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado made it clear that he is not happy with the team amid trade talks. “There’s a lot of disrespect from people there that I don’t want to be a part of,” Arenado said in a text. “You can quote that.” General manager Jeff Bridich said on Monday that Arenado is expected to open the 2020 season with Colorado, but trade talks could be back on if Arenado wants out. Teams have been asking about Arenado since the winter meetings in December, and the Rockies have been listening. The 28-year-old is a five-time All-Star and seven-time Gold Glove winner and has hit at least 37 home runs in each of the last five seasons. The elite athlete hit .315/.379/.583 with 41 homers and 118 RBI last year. He's more attractive in fantasy in Colorado, but Arenado will be a coveted high-end fantasy asset no matter where he's playing.
