Noah Cameron Set to Make Spot Start on Saturday
Noah Cameron is set to make a spot start on Saturday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Cameron will take the spot of Seth Lugo (finger), who is being given the weekend off due to inflammation in his right finger. Cameron made his MLB debut earlier this season and performed very well, tossing six 1/3 one-hit innings against the Athletics. In this start, he struck out three batters and walked five. Through 32 2/3 innings at Triple-A this season, the southpaw has posted a 3.31 ERA with a 1.13 WHIP. He has tallied 38 punchouts and walked 13 batters. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should view Cameron as a viable streaming option given his strong debut, but should not expect him to remain on the MLB roster following this start.
